Mixed group of people who are all welcoming; Great insight and "food for thought" whenever I visit and engage in small groups or public worship. Worth the trip.
It's a beautiful thing to walk into a new place full of diverse people you've never met and feel like you made it home. That was my experience just a few months ago at Rhythm church. It has been a huge part of my family getting connected down here in a short time. This is what community is supposed to look like!
My husband and I felt right at home our first Sunday at Rhythm. We were very new to the Miami area and I felt a little intimidated having to "start over". All of the staff, as well as other members were so quick to invite us to lunch, small groups, or just to have coffee throughout the week. We both liked the structure of the service because they use some of the traditional liturgy I remember growing up with in the Presbyterian church, but in a very relaxed and non-judgmental atmosphere.
I started attending Rhythm when I was a college student at the Univeristy of Miami, it's close to campus. I haven't left since. I never grew up in the church, nor had a relationship with God prior to attending Rhythm. The pastors make the message easy to understand and apply to everyday, not just Sunday morning. This church and the people really care about your spiritual growth and help you walk through life in general. I am originally from Chicago, IL and the only family I have in Miami is my church family. Miami can be a hard place to live and I'm grateful to have the genuine support of this church and its members. Come say stop by! I have curly hair and sit in the front, you can sit with me. :)
Rhythm is an amazing group of people who exemplify God's grace, love and commitment to spiritual growth individually and community wide through missions and discipleship. Whole man discipleship!!!!! I absolutely love it! I have been worshiping in community with this wonderful church for almost a year and it has been the best decision I could have made. I love the spirit and the heart of the people here. The leadership here is very dynamic yet humble. The mission and and fellowship is so at the heart of Christ and what The Church is supposed to be and stand for!! I love this ministry and the people who are apart of it. I am so grateful for this group of believers and that my daughter and nephews have been able to grow in God through the wonderful children's ministry under beautifully guided hands and hearts!
